Editing led me to directing, because that’s just how these things go.  I favor documentary or "doc-style," with crews small enough to keep production intimate and comfortable. I'm an empathetic interviewer, a b-roll scavenger, and when possible, my own editor.  I typically tell a story that's longer than 30 seconds but they often get cut down and repurposed for social channels. I like the economy of that.
