I came to directing through editing, which means I'm always thinking about the cut. My focus is documentary and doc-style work, produced through my own company with EP handling production. What I love most is the collaboration, especially with real people, who deserve to walk away having truly enjoyed the process. I'm an empathetic interviewer, an active listener, a b-roll scavenger, and, whenever I can swing it, my own editor of course.
